About 12:53 p.m. Sunday, a 1962 Piper PA-24 Comanche was en path to Wiley Put up Airport when it crashed close to NW 63rd and Broadway Extension.
The aircraft reportedly struck energy traces. The pilot was transported to a neighborhood hospital, it was reported.
