Six folks have been rescued Wednesday after they grew to become trapped by supplies that collapsed at a film studio below building in Glendale, metropolis hearth officers mentioned.
The rescue started round 11 a.m. when firefighters at a station within the 1200 block of Glendale Avenue “heard a loud noise,” mentioned Anita Shandi, deputy director of the Glendale Fireplace Division.
Roof beams, or trusses, had collapsed at a building web site one constructing over from the station, trapping three building employees within the rubble at floor stage and three on cherry pickers.

Of the three folks trapped on the cherry pickers, one was rescued utilizing a firetruck ladder whereas two others have been hoisted off by a Los Angeles Fireplace Division helicopter.
All six employees have been rescued by 1:30 p.m., 5 of whom have been taken to a hospital.
