CHICAGO (CBS) — CBS 2’s Jim Williams was introduced with a serious honor Friday, as he was inducted into the Nationwide Civil Rights Corridor of Fame.
The group cited Williams for his many years of service to the neighborhood via his reporting.
A dinner celebrating the inductions was held Friday night time at Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church, at 4600 S. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Dr. within the Bronzeville neighborhood.
Different inductees included Chicago Hearth Commissioner Annette Nance-Holt, and Cook dinner County Chief Choose Timothy Evans.
