The Ministry of Roads and Highways has introduced that visitors movement shall be disrupted on the flowerpot roundabout from June 13 till October 31, 2023.
An announcement by the Ministry on Monday indicated that the disruption is because of the building of a flyover over the Motorway.
It said that routes to be affected embody Spintex Street (East and West Sure), Burma Camp Street from Giffard Street, and the Martey Tsuru Street (East and West Sure)
The Ministry urged Motorists to obey visitors administration and diversion indicators posted at chosen sections of the challenge affect zones or to decide on alternate routes to permit free circulation of visitors by way of the development zone.
In accordance with the assertion, the alternate routes are as follows;
Motorists travelling from Spintex Street to the Motorway can use the Achimota-Ofankor Street or the Airport-Tema Motorway.
Motorists travelling from Burma Camp Street to the Motorway can use the 37 Army Hospital Street or the Ngleshie Amanfro Street.
Motorists travelling from Martey Tsuru Street to the Motorway can use the Teshie-Nungua Street or the Nungua Seashore Street.
The Ministry of Roads and Highways has assured the general public that the flyover shall be completed in October 2023 to alleviate visitors congestion on the flowerpot roundabout.
