ROCKVILLE CENTRE, N.Y. — Police are investigating after antisemitic flyers had been present in Rockville Centre.
Hempstead city officers say residents awakened Friday morning to hateful propaganda left at their properties.
Native leaders got here collectively to face towards hate and ship a message of unity whereas police search for suspects.
“We’re united in our outrage. We’re united in our disgust of the cowardice acts of people who positioned flyers on doorways in the midst of the evening with such hatred, and we’re not gonna tolerate it,” Hempstead City Supervisor Don Clavin stated.
On Twitter, Gov. Kathy Hochul stated she’s disgusted by the incident, including, “These offensive tropes and despicable conspiracy theories haven’t any place in our state. We stand with our Jewish neighbors and proceed our battle to root out antisemitism wherever it rears its ugly head.”
