DULUTH, Minn. (WCCO) — Duluth welcomed its first cruise ship in almost a decade Monday.
Accompanied by a thick blanket of fog, the Viking Octantis arrived within the Duluth Harbor early within the morning. It’ll cease at a brand new customized facility on the Duluth Leisure and Conference Middle.

The ship is carrying 400 passengers and 250 crew members, and is stopping as part of its eight-day Nice Lakes tour.
It’s the first of 9 cruise ships set to reach within the Duluth Harbor this summer time.
