NEW YORK — The duty drive that’s concentrating on homeless encampments in New York Metropolis begins the second section of its mission on Thursday.
Mayor Eric Adams’ workplace mentioned the duty drive will return to websites that stay energetic and end cleansing them up. Up to now, 239 websites have been cleared.
The duty drive is providing shelter and companies to those that are displaced, earlier than giving them 24 to 48 hours to vacate.
Adams ordered homeless camps throughout town to be torn down in March.
