HOLLYWOOD (CBSLA) — Oscars week is right here and road closures surrounding the Dolby Theatre have been already in place Monday as a part of preparations for Sunday’s 94th Academy Awards.
As of Monday, Hollywood Boulevard was already closed between Orange Drive and Highland Avenue and it’ll stay closed via 6 a.m. on March 30.

The sidewalk in entrance of the Dolby Theatre can also be blocked together with the pedestrian crosswalk on Hollywood Boulevard in entrance of the theater.
Starting Monday evening, the alley east of the El Capitan Theatre will shut between Hollywood Boulevard and about 200 toes south. It would reopen on March 30 at 6 a.m.
A portion of Hawthorn Alley south of the El Capitan was already closed Monday and Hawthorn Avenue shall be utterly closed between Orange Drive and Highland Avenue from Friday via 6 a.m. March 30.
On Saturday the next road closures will start:
— Orchid Avenue will shut from 60 toes south of Franklin Boulevard to Orchid Alley.
— Orange will shut from Orchid Alley to Hollywood Boulevard.
— The north and south sidewalks of Hawthorn Avenue will shut from Highland to Orange.
— The north sidewalk of Hollywood Boulevard will shut utterly from Highland to Orange.
— The west sidewalk of Highland will shut from Johnny Grant Method south to Hollywood Boulevard.
— Johnny Grant Method from Highland to Orchid Avenue will shut.
On Oscar Sunday, Feb. 9, the next restrictions will take impact:
— The rest of Hawthorn Alley from Orange to Highland will shut.

— Orange will shut from Lanewood Avenue to Hollywood Boulevard.
— The north and south sidewalks of Hollywood Boulevard from Highland to 300 toes east of Highland will shut, with an 8-foot pedestrian entry on the south aspect.
— The south sidewalk of Hollywood Boulevard will shut straight in entrance of the north-south operating Hawthorn Alley.
— The east sidewalk and curb lane of Highland from Yucca Avenue to Sundown Boulevard will shut, apart from an 8-foot pedestrian entry.
— The west sidewalk of Highland between Hollywood and Sundown boulevards will shut, together with the west curb of Highland from Johnny Grant Strategy to Hollywood Boulevard.
— The north and south crosswalks on Hollywood Boulevard on the Highland intersection will shut.
— Highland Avenue will shut from Sundown to Franklin Avenue.
— Hollywood Boulevard shall be closed from La Brea Boulevard to Orange Drive, and from Highland Avenue to Cahuenga Boulevard.
— Hawthorn Avenue will shut between Orange Drive and La Brea, and from Highland and McCadden Place.
— McCadden Place will shut from Yucca Avenue to Hollywood Boulevard.
— Wilcox Avenue will shut between Sundown and Cahuenga boulevards.
In the meantime Sunday, Metro Pink Line trains will bypass the Hollywood and Highland station and bus routes alongside Hollywood Boulevard shall be re-routed.
