Charli XCX has dropped her much-anticipated album, CRASH.
CRASH is the English artist’s fifth studio album. The challenge departs from her earlier hyperpop sound and ventures extra into the realms of dance-pop.

Forward of the album’s launch, the artist launched her fourth and remaining single for the album, “Child,” accompanied by a music video directed by Imogene Strauss and Luke Orlando.
In an Apple Music 1 interview with Zane Lowe, Charli XCX revealed how experiences akin to failed relationships and friendships helped her create CRASH.
“Folks do fall out of relationships, individuals do lose mates, and so on.,” Charli says. “And that’s actually occurred on many ranges for me doing this album.”
She continued to speak in regards to the comforting nature of pop music for herself in addition to others.
